2027 POLL: PRIMATE AYODELE SAYS TINUBU FACES DEFEAT, MENTIONS CARDINAL ONAIYEKAN

Leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has predicted that President Bola Tinubu will lose the 2027 presidential election, warning that financial inducements and food distribution would not sway voters.
Speaking during a church service in Lagos, the cleric said attempts to influence Nigerians with rice or money would not overcome the widespread frustration over the country’s economic situation.
Primate Ayodele also threw his weight behind comments made by the Archbishop Emeritus of the Catholic Diocese of Abuja, Cardinal John Onaiyekan, saying the cleric had spoken the truth about the state of the nation.
He urged Nigerians not to criticise Onaiyekan, arguing that the cardinal had voiced concerns that many Pentecostal leaders had failed to express to the President.
According to Ayodele, the prevailing hardship and public dissatisfaction would be reflected at the polls in 2027, insisting that political inducements would not change the outcome.
He further cautioned that advisers surrounding the President could mislead him, maintaining that Tinubu risks electoral defeat if the concerns of Nigerians are not addressed.
