2027 PRESIDENCY: APC DESPERATE TO RETAIN POWER AT ALL COSTS – BUBA GALADIMA

A chieftain of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Buba Galadima, has alleged that the All Progressives Congress (APC) could do anything possible to retain power in the 2027 general election.
Galadima made the claim while featuring on the Naija Unfiltered Podcast, where he said the ruling party was concerned about the consequences of losing power.
According to him, the APC’s actions against Nigerians could come back to haunt the party if it loses the 2027 election.
“The desperation with which the APC is going, they can do anything under the sun to come back to power, because they know what it entails if they lose power; what they have done to people will visit them,” he said.
The NDC chieftain also claimed that most Nigerians he had spoken with did not want President Bola Tinubu to return to office.
Galadima said political strategies should be considered to prevent further division along ethnic and religious lines.
He further argued that allowing the Southeast to produce Nigeria’s next president could help promote national unity.
“These are strategies I can’t say on television, but they are realities of life. The only way to unite this country is to allow people from the Southeast taste power and I can stand on any platform to support that and convince people that it’s the right thing to do,” he said.
Galadima’s remarks come amid growing political realignments and preparations by political parties and opposition groups ahead of the 2027 general election.
