The federal government has established a disaster relief fund to deal with disasters like flooding.
This was told to journalists on Monday by Wale Edun, Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, at the State House in Abuja, following the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting presided over by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
According to the minister, disasters will continue to occur in this period of climate change, regardless of the prevention efforts in place.
