For their Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Rwanda on Monday, the Super Eagles have revealed their starting lineup, which includes some noticeable absences.

Stanley Nwabali, the goalkeeper who was originally called up for the game, is unable to play because of his father’s untimely death. Likewise, the squad has chosen to use a different attacking configuration; therefore, star forward Victor Osimhen will not play in the match.

A post by Soar Super Eagles via X states that Bruno Onyemaechi, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Jordan Osho, and captain William Troost-Ekong make up the defense, with Maduka Okoye in goal.

The midfield trio features Frank Onyeka, Ismaheel Yusuf, and Tom Dele-Bashiru, providing both defensive stability and creative playmaking.

In attack, Simon Moses, Kelechi Iheanacho, and Victor Boniface will lead the line, with Boniface seeking his first international goal for Nigeria.
