Preparations for Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo’s daughter, Priscilla’s wedding, are in full swing, with invitations already being distributed.

According to Kemi Filani on Saturday, Priscilla and Juma Jux have officially announced that their Yoruba traditional wedding will take place on the 17th of this month. In sharing the news, the couple described their bond as two hearts joined as one soul, with a commitment to ‘forever.’

A video shared on Iyabo Ojo’s Instagram shows the mother and daughter visiting the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, to personally invite him to the upcoming wedding. The footage captures Priscilla kneeling before the monarch as she hands him the wedding invitation.

In her post, Iyabo expressed her gratitude and joy for the Ooni’s support, declaring him the Royal father of the day.

“When the Revered Ooni of Ile Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja 11, @ooniadimulaife, the Royal father of the day, lends his Royal Endorsement to your Wedding, know that your Marriage is truly Blessed!
Long live our King

Last month, during their visit to Tanzania, Juma took Priscilla to meet the former president of Tanzania. The couple received special treatment at the former president’s residence as they invited him to their upcoming wedding in Lagos.

Earlier in February, the couple had already celebrated the first part of their wedding in a private ceremony, attended only by their families and closest friends.

Two days before Valentine’s Day, Juma Jux proposed to Priscilla for the second time, in front of her family and friends. Sharing a video of the heartfelt proposal, Juma revealed that he proposed again with a ring twice the size of the first one. Expressing his deep love for Priscilla, he promised to spend forever with her.

The following day, the couple officially tied the knot in a civil ceremony, with guests such as Toyin Abraham, Chioma Good Hair, Enioluwa, and others in attendance.
