NFF ELECTIONS TO HOLD AFTER COURT GRANTS STAY OF EXECUTION
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has been granted a stay of execution by the Court of Appeal ahead of the upcoming electoral congress.
The NFF’s elective congress, which was set to take place on Friday in Benin City, will proceed as planned after the apex body of football administration was given a notice of appeal and a stay of execution on an exparte order by Justice I.E. Ekwo.
This was disclosed in a document made available to newsmen where it was further gathered that, with the judicial step taken, the notice on appeal was set aside and making the exparte order against NFF regarding the elective congress null and void.
