Adeniyi Adeyemi, who allegedly presented himself as the Director-General of the non-existent Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC), has been arrested.
According to TVC, the arrest occurred shortly after Justice Mohammed Umar of the Federal High Court in Abuja issued a warrant for his arrest.
Adeyemi was scheduled to be arraigned on an eight-count charge, marked FHC/ABJ/CR/562/2025, bordering on alleged forgery, fraud and impersonation.
Despite the case being listed as No. 12 on the court’s cause list, the defendant failed to appear in court for his plea. However, his counsel, Mr. Genesis Francis, announced his appearance on Adeyemi’s behalf.
Details later.
