APC UNVEILS ADDITIONAL APPOINTMENTS TO TINUBU’S PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN COUNCIL

The All Progressives Congress (APC) on Wednesday released a supplementary list expanding the leadership and membership of President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 Presidential Campaign Council (PCC).
In a statement signed by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the APC said the new appointments cover various directorates, sectoral groups, mobilisation structures and operational units within the council.
The statement described the development as an expansion of the council’s composition ahead of the 2027 general election.
The party also reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring effective coordination among the council’s various components as preparations for the polls intensify.

The latest list builds on earlier appointments announced by the party.
The initial composition of the council was unveiled in August 2026, with President Tinubu as chairman, Vice President Kashim Shettima and APC National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, as vice chairmen. Former Zamfara State Governor, Senator Abdulaziz Yari, was named director-general, while Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma was appointed secretary.
A revised list released in mid-October further expanded the council under a “rainbow coalition” strategy, bringing prominent political figures from outside the APC’s core membership into the campaign structure.
Among those appointed were the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, as campaign coordinator for Rivers State and the FCT; Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke as coordinator for Osun State; and Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo as coordinator for Anambra State.
The council was formally inaugurated on October 14, 2026, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
Subsequent additions introduced directorates responsible for election planning and monitoring, infrastructure mobilisation, health sector engagement, civil society relations, new media, extractive industries, entertainment, security and intelligence, artisan mobilisation, labour relations and faith-based groups, among other specialised areas.
Wednesday’s supplementary list represents another phase in the expansion of the campaign council, aimed at strengthening nationwide coordination and grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general election.
Details of the additional appointments were released through the party’s official channels.
