APC UNVEILS LAGOS CAMPAIGN COUNCIL MEMBERS, SANWO-OLU, FASHOLA, AMBODE FEATURE

The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress has unveiled the composition of its campaign council ahead of the 2027 general elections, with Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and former governors Babatunde Fashola and Akinwunmi Ambode among those listed.
The list was released on Thursday by the Kadri Obafemi Hamzat Media Centre.
According to the document, Prince Tajudeen Olusi will serve as Chairman of the Governance Advisory Council, while Governor Sanwo-Olu is listed as Chairman of the Advisory Council. Former governors Fashola and Ambode will serve as Co-Chairmen.
Other members of the advisory structure include the President’s Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila; Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa; and former Minister of Health, Adeleke Mamora.
At the campaign council level, Sanwo-Olu will serve as Chairman, with his deputy, Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, appointed Deputy Chairman.
Ojelabi Cornelius is listed as Vice Chairman I, while Obasa will serve as Vice Chairman II and Damilola Sonayon James as Vice Chairman III.
Former Senator Musiliu Obanikoro has been named Director-General, with Rasaq Ajala as Deputy Director-General and Adekunle Olayinka as Campaign Secretary.
The council is divided into several directorates and sub-committees responsible for areas such as legal and compliance, party and inter-party affairs, administration and logistics, traditional institutions, diaspora engagement and residents’ associations.
The formal inauguration of the council is scheduled for Friday, September 18, at the APC Secretariat on ACME Road, Ikeja, Lagos.
