AYRA STARR REVEALS SHE UNDERWENT MAJOR SURGERY, ASSURES FANS OF RECOVERY

Afrobeats sensation Sarah Aderibigbe, popularly known as Ayra Starr, has revealed that she recently underwent major surgery, assuring fans that she is recovering and will return soon.
The singer disclosed the development in a post shared on her Instagram Story on Thursday, apologising for her reduced presence on social media and explaining that her recovery had been more challenging than initially anticipated.
“Hey Mobstarrs, I’m sorry you’re not seeing as much of me as I would like. I had major surgery a few days ago. I was hoping it would be a quick recovery, but it was more complicated than they expected.
“I just need a bit of rest, and I’ll be back!!! Starrgirl is coming so soooon. I need everyone out there spreading the word, tell your friends, your family, your neighbours!!! Order Starrgirl ASAP!!!
“Love you guys,” she wrote.
In a separate update, Ayra Starr urged fans to pre-order her upcoming project, announcing that she had signed copies of her first vinyl and CD inserts.
“Hey Mobstarrs. I’m signing my first vinyl and CD inserts. Go to shop.ayrastarr.com. Go get your vinyl and your signed CDs,” she said.
The update comes shortly after fans got their first look at Ayra Starr’s acting debut in the official trailer for the Hollywood fantasy film Children of Blood and Bone.
The singer stars alongside acclaimed actors Viola Davis, Idris Elba, Cynthia Erivo, Richard Mofe-Damijo and Damson Idris in the highly anticipated adaptation of Tomi Adeyemi’s bestselling novel.
