BONIFACE TO UNDERGO KNEE SURGERY, OUT FOR REST OF 2025/26 SEASON – WERDER BREMEN

Werder Bremen have confirmed that Nigeria international Victor Boniface will undergo surgery on his injured knee on Saturday.
The 25-year-old forward will miss the rest of the 2025/26 Bundesliga season. Boniface is currently on loan at Werder Bremen from Bayer Leverkusen, and the loan agreement will remain in effect until the season’s end.
Boniface has been sidelined since December and has made 11 league appearances for Bremen this season, providing two assists.
