The Bamboo investment app has experienced login challenges following a sharp increase in traffic from users seeking to participate in the Dangote Refinery and Petrochemicals FZE public offer.
Some users were reportedly unable to access their accounts as investors rushed to subscribe to the offer.
Bamboo acknowledged the disruption in a statement posted on its official X account, attributing the difficulty to unexpectedly high traffic generated by interest in the Dangote IPO.
The platform said it was working to resolve the issue and restore normal access to the app.
The disruption comes amid growing interest in the Dangote Refinery public offer, which has attracted significant attention from Nigerians seeking to invest in the company.
Bamboo did not provide a specific timeline for when the login problems would be fully resolved.
