IKEJA ELECTRIC TRANSFORMER CATCHES FIRE
A 15MVA 33/11kV Ikeja Electric plc transformer at the Alausa Injection Substation blew on Wednesday.
The Lagos State Fire Department quickly responded to the incident that happened in the afternoon and brought it under control.
A source claims that the distribution transformer’s advanced age and bad condition were to blame for the event.
