KANO GOVERNOR CELEBRATES EMIR SANUSI ON 65TH BIRTHDAY

Abba Kabir Yusuf has congratulated the Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, on the occasion of his 65th birthday, describing him as a visionary leader whose wisdom, courage and commitment to justice continue to inspire generations.
The congratulatory message was conveyed in a statement issued on Friday by the governor’s spokesperson, Sunusi DawakinTofa.
Yusuf commended the Emir for his significant contributions to nation-building, education, economic development and the preservation of Kano’s rich cultural and religious heritage.
According to the governor, Sanusi’s years of dedicated service have earned him widespread respect both in Nigeria and internationally.
He also praised the monarch for his unwavering commitment to promoting peace, unity and good governance, as well as his advocacy for education, women and youth empowerment, sustainable development and economic reforms.
The governor noted that the Emir’s leadership has remained a symbol of hope and progress for the people of Kano and the country at large.
Yusuf prayed for Almighty Allah to grant the Emir good health, long life and continued wisdom as he continues to lead the Kano Emirate and contribute to Nigeria’s development.
He further reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to working closely with the traditional institution to implement policies and programmes aimed at improving the lives of residents and strengthening Kano’s position as a centre of excellence.
