Nigerian content creator and actress Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori, popularly known as Kiekie, has revealed why she chooses not to collaborate with certain colleagues in the entertainment industry.
Speaking during a recent podcast interview, Kiekie said she avoids working with skit makers whose content she considers excessively vulgar or inconsistent with her personal brand.
According to her, brand compatibility is a key factor in deciding potential collaborations.
“I would never collaborate with any skit maker whose content is overly vulgar. That’s something I can’t do,” she said.

When asked to mention a specific name, Kiekie declined, explaining that her stance was not directed at any individual.
“I can’t think of a particular person, but I’ve seen quite a number of such creators. If your content focuses too much on exposing the body or similar themes, it simply doesn’t align with my brand,” she said.
She stressed that her decision should not be interpreted as a lack of respect for other creators or their work.
“My decision not to collaborate with someone doesn’t mean I look down on them or fail to appreciate their effort and talent. I respect the hard work they put into their craft, but our brands may not be compatible.
“At the end of the day, brand alignment matters because it influences how other brands and partners perceive and engage with my work,” she added.
