LAGOS APC TO HOLD CONGRESS, TUESDAY

The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced that its 2026 State Congress will hold on Tuesday, March 3.

A notice issued on Monday by the Chairman of the Lagos State Congress Committee stated that the congress will take place at Mobolaji Johnson Stadium (formerly Onikan Stadium) starting at 10 a.m.

The statement read: “Pursuant to the provisions of Article 12.8 of the party’s Constitution, the All Progressives Congress, Lagos State Chapter, hereby announces the scheduled 2026 State Congress.”

Those eligible to attend include members of the State Advisory Council; the State Chairman and members of the State Executive Committee; the State Governor and Deputy Governor who are party members; and all serving and former members of the National Assembly from Lagos who belong to the party.

Also listed are members of the National Executive Committee from the state; serving and past members of the State House of Assembly; elected Local Government Chairmen and Deputy Chairmen; and all elected councillors across the state’s 245 wards who are party members.

In addition, the notice includes chairmen and secretaries of the party in all Local Government Areas, five delegates per ward elected at the Ward Congress, and members of the Zonal Executive Committee from Lagos.

The APC emphasized that all delegates must present valid party membership cards and official accreditation tags to gain entry to the congress.
