LASU VC, REGISTRAR CONGRATULATE OLORI ON APPOINTMENT AS GREENLAND UNIVERSITY’S PIONEER REGISTRAR

The Vice-Chancellor of Lagos State University (LASU), Distinguished Professor Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, mni, NPOM, and the University Registrar, Mr Emmanuel A. Fanu, MANUPA, FCAI, have congratulated Mr Adewunmi Samuel Olori on his appointment as the Pioneer Registrar of Greenland University, Jalingo, the first private university in Taraba State.
In a congratulatory message, the university management described the appointment as a testament to Olori’s outstanding administrative competence and the quality of professionals produced by Lagos State University.
Until his appointment, Olori served as Deputy Registrar and Administrative Secretary of the Masters of Public Administration (MPA) Programme Office at LASU, where he built a distinguished career in university administration.
Having joined the institution in 2009 as an Administrative Officer II, he rose steadily through the ranks, serving in several strategic divisions and units of the Registry, including the Vice-Chancellor’s Office, Academic Staff Establishments Division, Non-Academic Staff Establishments Division, Postgraduate School, Legal Affairs Division, School of Transport and Logistics, Registrar’s Office, Masters of Public Administration Programme Office, and the Centre for Financial Forensic Investigation and Analytics.
He also served on more than 25 university committees in various capacities as a member and secretary, contributing significantly to the institution’s administrative development.
The Vice-Chancellor and the Registrar noted that Olori’s appointment reflects LASU’s continued contribution to the growth of higher education in Nigeria through the production of seasoned administrators capable of taking on leadership responsibilities.
They expressed confidence in his ability to provide the administrative leadership required to establish a solid foundation for the new institution and wished him a successful and impactful tenure.
The university further noted that Olori’s appointment adds to the growing list of LASU administrative staff who have recently been appointed to key leadership positions in tertiary institutions across the country.
