Nollywood actress Oluebube Obio has alleged that she was compelled to attend an All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign event, claiming that her life and personal safety were at risk.

Oluebube made the claim after facing criticism over videos showing her at the campaign, with some Nigerians questioning her presence at the political gathering.

Reacting to the backlash in a social media post, the actress said there was more to her appearance than what people saw and alleged that she was being blackmailed.

She also said she would identify those behind the alleged blackmail when the time was right, while asking her supporters to pray for her.

Oluebube wrote: “I was actually forced to be in such settings, my life and safety is not guaranteed, if you watch the video closely, I myself felt so much discomfort and stressed up

When the time is right I will expose the people blackmailing me, the least you can do is to pray for me.”

The actress did not name the people she accused of forcing or blackmailing her and did not give further details about the circumstances surrounding her appearance at the APC campaign.
