NIGERIAN AIR FORCE OPENS RECRUITMENT FOR AIRMEN, AIRWOMEN TRAINING COURSE 46/2025

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has announced the commencement of applications for its Airmen/Airwomen Basic Military Training Course 46/2025.
The announcement, made on Monday through the Force’s official X handle, stated that online registration is free and will run from October 14 to November 25, 2025. Interested candidates are to apply through the recruitment portal: http://nafrecruitment.airforce.mil.ng.
According to the statement, applicants are required to print out their acknowledgement slip, parent and guardian consent form, and local government area attestation form after completing the online application.
The attestation forms must be signed by a military officer from the applicant’s state of origin not below the rank of Wing Commander in the Air Force or its equivalent in the Army and Navy, a police officer not below the rank of Chief Superintendent of Police, a substantive local government chairman or secretary, or a magistrate. The form must also be accompanied by a passport photograph and a valid ID card of the signee.
Applicants must be Nigerian citizens and meet the minimum height requirements of 1.66m for males and 1.63m for females. They must also be medically, physically, and psychologically fit and meet NAF employment standards.
For non-tradesmen and women, applicants must be between 18 and 22 years old and possess a minimum of five credits, including Mathematics and English Language, in not more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, GCE, NABTEB, or NBAIS, in addition to a secondary school testimonial.
For tradesmen and women, the age limit is 18 to 27 years, with applicants required to hold ND/NCE certificates with at least a lower credit from accredited institutions, as well as five credits in core subjects. Drivers must also present valid trade test certificates and a valid driver’s licence, while athletes are required to submit evidence of professional experience, including medals and certificates.
NAF emphasized that applicants must not have any criminal convictions and must provide authentic documentation.
It added that a zonal general aptitude test for shortlisted candidates will be conducted on a date to be announced on the recruitment portal.
