NIGERIAN TIKTOK STAR “GEH GEH” DRAWS 177,000 VIEWERS, EARNS $30,000 IN GIFTS DURING LIVE SESSION

A Nigerian TikTok personality popularly known as “Geh Geh” has gone viral after attracting over 177,000 viewers to his live session on Thursday, during which he reportedly received gifts valued at more than $30,000.

Geh Geh, who brands his platform as the “University of Wisdom and Understanding,” has built an online following through his unconventional advice to men on relationships and finances.

In a follow-up video, he described the massive support as life-changing. “See gift I made over… more gift when they give me today is worth about \$30,000. I no go take this love for granted, because I no really do anything for am,” he said.

The content creator, who often refers to himself as the “first illiterate to find a university in the history of Nigeria,” said his rise from being an orphan to gaining nationwide recognition is proof of divine grace and the power of social media.

“More than 177,000 people watch my lectures today. Jesus! University of wisdom and understanding, the only university where once you graduate, woman go fear to ask you for money,” he told his fans.

His teachings though sometimes controversial have sparked debates online, particularly regarding his views on money and women. However, his success story has also been celebrated as an example of digital empowerment, showing that even those without formal education can leverage social platforms to gain influence, inspire others, and earn a living.

Supporters, who now refer to themselves as “students” of the Geh Geh University, continue to swell in number, fueling conversations about how platforms like TikTok are reshaping fame and opportunity in Nigeria.
