Femi Afolabi Brown, husband of television host Morayo Brown, has weighed in on the ongoing dispute involving P-Square brothers Peter Okoye and Jude Okoye, saying he would recover every kobo owed to him before offering forgiveness.
Femi made the remarks during an episode of The Brown Couch series, where he appeared alongside his wife and was asked to give his Christian perspective on how the dispute should be handled, particularly regarding forgiveness.
Responding to questions from Morayo, Femi said he would insist on recovering his money before forgiving and moving on.
“In my own Christian mind, I will collect all my money back first. I will collect my money back. And I will forgive, and I will forget. I can forgive and forget, but I will continue to pursue my money,” he said.

According to him, the money represents the future of the person involved and could be used to provide for his children and family.
“That money is his future. That’s the future of his children. That’s the school fees of his children, the comfort of his children. Will he now let it go? That’s his sweat. That’s what he worked for. His earnings, legitimately his, to take care of him, his wife and his children, his children’s children,” Femi added.
When asked why he could not simply forgive and let the financial matter go, Femi argued that the amount allegedly involved was too substantial to overlook.
“Money that is over $2 million, based on the little calculation I have done by the available information? I can’t let $2 million go. No. I can’t. I will take it. Whatever I can take.
“Sell everything you have. Bring all the money in your account. Whatever you can pay out of that $2 million, but I will make sure,” he said.
Femi further cited biblical teachings on restitution, arguing that demanding repayment was consistent with Christian principles.
“Because the Bible says that if a thief steals and is caught, he will replenish. He will pay back in sevenfold. Even the Bible says thieves must pay back. Thieves must pay back. So they are meant to pay back.
“Asking them to pay back is Christian. Do you understand? That’s what the Bible says. Pay back,” he added.
He also said that if he were in Peter’s position, he would not want to maintain any relationship with Jude following the alleged dispute.
Asked what he would say if he encountered Jude, Femi said he would avoid any interaction with him.
“I can’t. I won’t. I can never have a conversation with Jude. God forbid. If I see somebody like that coming, I go another way. God forbid that we interact or interface. Never. How?” he said.
