Lagos State Deputy Governor and APC governorship candidate, Dr Obafemi Hamzat, has met with the leadership of Christ Embassy, led by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, as part of his engagements with religious and community leaders across the state.

Hamzat said the meeting provided an opportunity to recognise the contributions of faith-based organisations to society, particularly in supporting families, empowering young people and strengthening communities.

He described the impact of such organisations as invaluable, stressing that their efforts can contribute significantly to the wellbeing and development of communities across Lagos.

The Deputy Governor said progress requires collective effort, noting that government, religious organisations, communities and other stakeholders must work together to build a better future for Lagos.

The meeting is part of a series of engagements by Hamzat with religious and traditional leaders across the state ahead of the 2027 Lagos governorship election.
