PRESIDENT OF GUINEA-BISSAU ISSUES DECREE TO DISSOLVE PARLIAMENT AFTER COUP BID
Following an attempted coup in the country of Guinea-Bissau, the president signed an order on Monday dissolving the parliament.
“The date of forthcoming legislative elections will be set at the opportune moment, in line with the constitution,” President Umaro Sissoco Embalo said in a communique.
