TINUBU HAS OSUN IN THE BAG FOR 2027 – BASHIR AHMAD

Former presidential aide, Bashir Ahmad, has expressed confidence that President Bola Tinubu already enjoys significant political support in Osun State ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Ahmad made the remark in a post on his verified X handle on Thursday, following a visit by Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, to Tinubu.
Adeleke, accompanied by other members of the Osun State chapter of the Accord Party, presented his Certificate of Return to the President during the visit.
Reacting to the development, Ahmad argued that Tinubu has political backing from both the ruling Accord Party in Osun and the All Progressives Congress, APC.
He said the political situation in the state appeared to favour Tinubu and the Renewed Hope agenda ahead of the 2027 elections.
Adeleke won the August 15, 2026 governorship election with 511,067 votes, defeating the APC candidate, Bola Oyebamiji, who secured 444,815 votes.
The African Democratic Congress candidate, Najeem Salaam, came third with 17,180 votes.
