TINUBU RETURNS TO NIGERIA AFTER FOUR-WEEK STAY ABROAD

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has returned to Nigeria after spending about four weeks outside the country, arriving in Lagos from Paris on Tuesday evening.
The President arrived aboard the Nigerian Air Force One, which taxied into the presidential wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport at about 6:22 p.m.
Journalists at the airport were restricted from capturing visuals of the President’s arrival as media access was limited while the presidential aircraft made its way to the terminal.
Tinubu had departed Nigeria on August 30 for London before travelling to Paris, where he held a series of engagements, including a meeting and dinner with French President Emmanuel Macron.
His return comes ahead of activities marking Nigeria’s 66th Independence Anniversary, with the President expected to participate in the celebrations and other official engagements.
