Popular Nollywood actor Owolabi Ajasa, widely known for his iconic “Ta lo pa Chief?” role, has dismissed viral reports claiming he is dead.
The media reports that the news about the actor’s death went viral after an obituary poster announcing his demise surfaced on social media.
Reacting to the news in an Instagram video, Ajasa said, “I’m still much alive in good health.”
While calling out the names of the platforms that are responsible for sharing bad and false news about him and his colleagues, the actor said, “To everyone posting my obituary around, I’m saying back to the sender to you and your family.
“Good day everyone, my name still remains Owolabi Ajasa, your Nollywood police officer. I want to tell all my fans both in Nigeria and abroad that I’m still much alive. I’m alive hale and hearty. There’s nothing wrong with me”, he said.
