Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, has reportedly expressed dissatisfaction with the performance of his social media aides, popularly known as his “data boys,” accusing them of failing to effectively promote and defend his administration online.
The governor was quoted as saying, “I pay you plenty, yet you still can’t defend my government,” while expressing concerns over what he described as the team’s poor handling of the government’s image and activities across social media platforms.
Oyebanji reportedly urged the aides to improve their performance and do more to project the achievements of his administration in the digital space.
