Nigeria’s Super Falcons will commence preparations for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Casablanca on Monday (today), HOTJIST reports.
Head coach Justine Madugu unveiled a 25-player squad for the continental tournament last Friday, with all selected players expected to arrive at the team’s camp on Monday.
The team is expected to relocate to Rabat, the venue for their group-stage matches, on the eve of the competition.
The defending champions have been drawn in Group C alongside Malawi, Zambia, and Egypt.
The Super Falcons will begin their title defense against Malawi’s Scorchers at the Al Madina Stadium, Rabat, on Tuesday, August 28.
Nigeria will be aiming to secure a record-extending 11th WAFCON title as they seek to maintain their dominance on the continent.
