11 Students Obtain First Class At University Of Lokoja
The Federal University, Lokoja (FUL) has graduated 285 students out of which 11 obtained first class degrees.
The Vice Chancellor, Prof Angela Freeman Miri, made the disclosure at the second convocation ceremony in Lokoja. She said that out of the 285 graduating students, 11 graduated with First Class, 79, Second Class Upper, 149, Second Class Lower, 44, Third Class and two Pass degrees (spill-over).
She said the National Universities Commission (NUC) had accredited all the established programmes in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences of the university and given interim accreditation to the Faculty of Sciences awaiting full accreditation in the second quarter of 2018.
She said the institution had put in place necessary machinery for the take-off of post-graduate programmes in the two faculties beginning from the 2018/2019 academic session.
