Messi Retains No.10 As Argentina World Cup Squad Get Jersey Numbers

Argentina 23-man squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia have been allocated shirt numbers.
The number allocation was announced on the Argentine national team verified Twitter handle on Tuesday.
As expected, skipper and Barcelona star Lionel Messi maintained his jersey number 10.
The number nine shirt was given to Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain, Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero got number 19, Angel Di Maria will wear number 11, Paulo Dybala has number 21 and former Barcelona defender Javier Mascherano, number 14.
Argentina will face minnows Haiti in a friendly game in the early hours of Wednesday as part of their preparations for the World Cup.
The two-time World Cup champions are in Group D alongside Croatia, Nigeria and Iceland at this year’s tournament.
