IMO VILLAGE TURNS A DEN OF ROBBERS AND KIDNAPPERS AS LOCAL CHIEF BECOMES 11TH VICTIM OF ABDUCTION IN SIX MONTHS

It is no longer news that Arondizuogu village in Okigwe local government area of Imo State has suddenly become a paradise to hoodlums where robbery and kidnapping activities are successfully planned and executed without any resistance.

It was a black Monday on the 10th of December 2018, to the people of the town as one of their illustrious sons – Chief Ogbonnaya Kanu was kidnapped at gunpoint. His kidnapping raised the number of the kidnapped victims in Arondizuogu to 11 within the space of Six Months.

Hotjist gathered that Chief OGB Kanu was kidnapped by armed robbers at the front of the APU old secretariat along Arondizuogu/Okigwe Express Road at about 7.10pm while coming home from Benue State.

He was blocked by the Said hoodlums while in motion with his Toyota Venza Car, surrendered and matched him inside their car and zoomed off to an unknown destination.

One Hon. Emeka Ukeh from Ndiogbuonye village was seriously wounded by flying bullets as the robbers shot sporadically on air. He was rushed to the hospital while others ran for their lives.
