JUVE TURNS TO SARRI AFTER REALISING GUARDIOLA IS ‘ZERO POSSIBILITY’

Reports say Italian giants, Juventus are seeking a wooden Chelsea manager, Sarri, after potential purchase of Guardiola appears impossible.

Juve must be willing to pay the London club €5.7 to sign the ex-Napoli boss.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Guardiola is in Abu Dhabi to not only relax but also negotiate a new contract, which would see him earn almost €6m more a season.

Sky Sport Italia’s Alessandro Alciato has also chimed in by tweeting that there is ‘zero possibility’ of the former Barcelona boss moving to Turin.

The Evening Standard, meanwhile, writes Sarri is ‘one of the main contenders’ to replace Max Allegri and that the Bianconeri ‘believe’ he would consider a return to Italy.

As for Chelsea, the newspaper explains they ‘will not stand in the way’ of the 60-year-old – providing they receive the £5m (€5.7m) that covers the remainder of his salary.

That, in turn, would not be a problem for the Old Lady, while satisfying the Blues after they were recently ordered to pay Antonio Conte €10m in compensation.
