The Super Eagles of Nigeria lost by one goal to Ecuador in a friendly match played at the Red Bull Arena, New Jersey in the United States of America.
Pervis Estupiñán scored the only goal of the match in the 3rd minute.
The Super Eagles paraded a strong side for the encounter which is in preparedness for their African Nations Cup Qualifiers commencing on June 9 with their first match against Sierra-Leone.
Nigeria is drawn in Group A of the 2023 Nations Cup qualifiers alongside Sao-Tome and Principè, Guinea-Bissau, and Sierra Leone.
Nigeria had lost their first match 2-1 to Mexico in the series of friendly matches
