COMMONWEALTH GAMES: QUADRI ARUNA, TABLE TENNIS TEAMMATES TO CAMP IN LAGOS
Table tennis players who will be representing Nigeria at the upcoming Commonwealth Games in Birmingham in 2022 will resume camping in Lagos the next week. The Games are scheduled to take place from July 28 to August 8.
The team will reportedly consist of eight individuals. Additionally, it was established that players will be chosen for the games based on their current rankings and form.
If there are no last-minute hiccups, names like Quadri Aruna, Edem Offiong, and Fatimo Bello are among the players who should make the team.
According to a spokesman of the Nigerian Table Tennis Federation, preparations for Nigeria’s participation at the Commonwealth Games are well underway.
