JUST IN: TERRORISTS FREE FIVE MORE KADUNA TRAIN ATTACK HOSTAGES
On March 28, terrorists ambushed the AK-9 Abuja-Kaduna train and kidnapped passengers. On Tuesday, they freed five more hostages, including Mukhtar Shuaibu, a victim who was shot while in their captivity.
When Shuaibu was inside the terrorists’ hideout, he was wounded by “friendly fire.”
The five hostages have been freed, according to Tukur Mamu, publisher of the Kaduna-based Desert Herald and media adviser to Sheikh Ahmad Gumi, a controversial Islamic cleric who resigned as one of the negotiators.
