VIRAL VIDEO: POLICE IN NASSARAWA ARRAIGN UNIVERSITY DON AND HIS 3 CHILDREN FOR ASSAULT

Dr. Fred Ekpa Ayokhai 53yrs, Emmanuela Ayokhai 18yrs, Bob Praise Ayokhai 23yrs and Saint-Dan Ayokhai 21yrs were on Thursday arraigned at High Court 1, Nasarawa State before Justice Aisha Bashir-Aliyu, the chief judge of Nasarawa State on six (6) count charge of Criminal Conspiracy, House Breaking and Criminal Force or Assault to woman with intent to outrage modesty, Kidnapping and Inflicting Physical Injury on another; punishable under Section 97 of the Penal Code Law of Northern Nigeria, Section 3(1) & 4 of the Nasarawa State Kidnapping(prohibition) Law, 2019, Section 268(2) & 354 of the Penal Code Law of Northern Nigeria and Section 3(1) of the Nasarawa State Violence Against Persons (prohibition) Law, 2019.
The case has been assigned to High Court, Obi for trial while the suspects have been remanded in prison custody pending formal arraignment.
In a viral video, Dr. Ayokhai had led his three sons to abduct, strip half-naked and physically molest one Blessing Mathias for beating his (Ayokhai’s) daughter; Emmanuela.
In a previous video, Blessing was seen beating Emmanuela, in the presence of friends, for allegedly being in possession of Blessing’s male-lover’s phone number. In retaliation, Dr. Ayokhai and his three children went to Blessing’s house, abducted her and took her to an undisclosed location where she was stripped half-naked and beaten with all incidences recorded on camera.
