3SC’s Alexandr Aghahowa gave up an own goal at the hour mark, putting his team on the back foot before Godwin Odibo made it two for Remo Stars at the 70th minute.
The Ijebu-based team overcame Oluyole Warriors, who are now led by their previous coach Ogunbote, to finish with 9 points from three games and secure topĀ in Group A, ahead of Bendel Insurance on goals differential.
After drawing their first two games this season, the loss leaves 3SC with just 1 point overall.
