AbdulAzeez Adediran, the People’s Democratic Party’s (PDP) nominee for governor of Lagos, voiced optimism for victory on Saturday.

Mr. Adedeiran predicted a change in the state’s government when he cast his ballot in polling unit 001/002 at Irewe Primary School in Ojo.

The politician from Lagos who goes by the name Jandor claimed that his team had worked hard to topple the state’s political dynasty.

“We have made our marks in the political landscape of the state, the verdict of the polls will be favorable to us.

“The election is a process that has do’s and dont’s attached to it. We have followed the process to its end and the rest is for the people and God to prove us right with good results.

“As a people with a vision of a new Lagos where the public good will be for the people and not for a few, we have remained consistent with our pursuit.

“It is our aim to have a better government that all will call our own,” he said.

The PDP stalwart denounced claims that his supporters were harassed, adding that such actions convey the wrong message to the public and cast doubt on the legality of the procedure.
