
UPDATE: LIVERPOOL TO REJECT €100 MILLION-SALARY BID FOR SALAH
Reports emerging from Liverpool FC has suggested that the club no intention to negotiate with Al-Ittihad FC of Saudi Arabia over the sale of Mohamed Salah, Liverpool insists that Salah considered not for sale.
News had made the round earlier in that day that Salah has agreed a three-year deal at €100 million annual salary making him the second highest paid footballer in the world after Cristiano Ronaldo.
The report said the Egyptian wants to leave Liverpool and has informed the board to negotiate a transfer fee with Al-Ittihad.
The 31-year-old penned a new three-year deal with the Reds last summer, which made him the highest-paid player in the club’s history, earning around £350,000 per week.
Salah has started both of Liverpool’s matches this season and remains a vital player in their squad, netting 30 goals in all competitions last term.
