90 TRADITIONAL MEDICAL PRACTITIONERS GRADUATE IN LAGOS

In its unwavering efforts to bridge the gap between modern medicine and traditional healing practices in the state, Lagos State Traditional Medicine Board (LSTMB), has again graduated another set of 90 skilled and passionate traditional medicine practitioners after a six-week compulsory orientation programme.

 

 

Speaking at the graduation ceremony held today in Lagos, the Board’s Registrar, Prince Babatunde Adele said that the six-week course is renowned for its comprehensive curriculum, providing students with a deep understanding of traditional healing techniques, herbal remedies and holistic approaches to healthcare.

Adele, who was represented by the Deputy Director, Research Training Development, Mr. Hakeem Bello, said “As you receive your licence today, you have now become the face of LSTMB and should be good ambassadors of the Board in your field of practice”.

 

 

He explained that through the training and hands-on experience gained, the new set of graduates now have the necessary skills to serve their communities as trusted traditional medicine practitioners.
