CHELSEA BAR LUKAKU, CHALOBAH, BROJA FROM USING FIRST-TEAM TRAINING FACILITIES
Chelsea has stopped Romelu Lukaku, Trevor Chalobah, and Armando Broja from using its first-team facilities as the trio are expected to leave the club, according to Telegraph.
Lukaku who last played for Chelsea in 2021 is wanted by Napoli’s coach, Antonio Conte who has not hidden his admiration for the Belgian. Lukaku has had loan spells in the Serie A with Inter Milan and AS Roma.
Both Chalobah and Broja played fringe roles last season with the latter even going on a loan to Fulham as he was considered surplus to requirement
Football journalist sharing the development on social media wrote, “Trevoh Chalobah and Armando Broja now barred by Chelsea from using first team’s facilities at Cobham, same as Lukaku!
“Broja, Chalobah and Lukaku will train with the U21s until they agree with a new club.
“Romel Lukaku, expected to join Napoli on a three-year contract soon… talks ongoing for Chalobah and Broja.
“Chelsea want around £30m fee for Chalobah as he’s already been left out of pre-season tour this summer.”
Chelsea will kick off their 2024/25 season against Manchester City next Sunday.
