
LAGOS GOVT FIXES SEPT. 7 TO CONDUCT SECOND PHASE OF 2024 SCREENING TEST INTO STATE MODEL COLLEGES, UPGRADED JSS
The Lagos State Government has announced September 7 for the conduct of the Second Phase of the 2024 Screening Test into
the State Model Colleges and Upgraded Junior Secondary Schools for the Year 2024 Academic Session.
This announcement was contained in a statement signed by the director, Lagos State Examinations Board, Mr. Adebayo Orunsolu informing parents, guardians and other stakeholders that the examination date for the conduct of the second phase of the Screening Test into the State Model Colleges and Upgraded Junior Secondary Schools is scheduled to hold on Saturday, 7th September, 2024 at WAEC Testing and Training Centre (WTTC), Ogba from 9 am to 5 pm.
He hinted that this is the first of its kind in the history of Examinations Board to hold Entrance Examination into the State Model Colleges twice through computer Based Test (CBT)
He added that this is to give more eligible pupils who are seeking admission into the State Model Colleges and Upgraded Junior Secondary Schools with boarding facilities the opportunity to benefit from the quality education being provided by the State Government.
The director therefore , assured the stakeholders of government’s commitment to promote sustainable academic excellence through provision of credible, qualitative and acceptable procedure in education assessment by developing reliable metrics for students’ Academic Performance in Lagos State.
He solicited the cooperation of parents and guardians towards achieving a common goal for the success of the examination.
