BREAKING: LABOUR LEADERS CONVERGE ON NLC HQ AS AJAERO HONOURS POLICE INVITATION
Labour leaders have congregated on the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) offices in solidarity with the NLC’s President, Comrade Joe Ajaero, who has been summoned by the Police Force over suspicions of terrorism financing.
Ajaero is anticipated to arrive at the police station around 10 a.m. today.
As early as 8 a.m., Labour officials began arriving at the NLC headquarters to mobilise support for the country’s most important worker.
They are expected to lead a peaceful parade to the police station, where Ajaero would be examined on charges of terrorism financing, cybercrime, subversion, criminal conspiracy, and treasonable felony.
To preserve peace and order, a large number of police officers are stationed a few meters from the NLC site.
