
BBNAIJA SEASON 1 RUNNER-UP FRANCISCA OWUMI IS DEAD
A former Big Brother Naija housemate and first runner-up of the reality TV show’s inaugural season in 2006, Francisca Owumi, has passed away.
Her family announced her demise on her Instagram on with the caption “A daughter and sister. May her soul rest in peace, Amen.”
According to reports, Owumi died after a brief illness. She was a memorable contestant on the first season of Big Brother Nigeria (BBNaija), known for her energetic dance moves and charming personality.
She shared the house with notable contestants like Katung Aduwak, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Gideon Okeke, and the late Joseph Ada.
After her reality TV stint, Owumi explored her passion for music, releasing two singles, “Gbadun You” and “Diva”, under her record label, Cisca Entertainment, in 2012. She was also a writer for Revista, an international magazine based in Ghana.
