2027: KADUNA PDP GOVERNORSHIP CANDIDATE BAWA PICKS GANDU AS RUNNING MATE

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate for the 2027 Kaduna State election, Usman Shehu Bawa, has announced Amos A. Gandu as his running mate.
Bawa said the selection underscores the party’s commitment to competence, unity and inclusive governance.
Speaking in Kaduna on Tuesday, the PDP flag bearer said Gandu emerged as his deputy governorship candidate after extensive consultations with party leaders, elders, women, youths and other key stakeholders across the state.
According to Bawa, Kaduna is at a defining moment in its history and requires leadership capable of uniting its diverse population, delivering effective governance and prioritising the welfare of citizens.
He added that Gandu, an indigene of Jaba Local Government Area, brings valuable experience to the ticket, having served Kaduna State in several capacities.
