GOMBE APC WARD CHAIRMAN RESIGNS, DUMPS PARTY

The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Pantami Ward, Gombe Local Government Area of Gombe State, Bala Salihu Ngalda, has resigned from his position and withdrawn his membership from the ruling party.

In a resignation letter dated July 27, 2026, and addressed to the ward secretary, Ngalda said his decision takes immediate effect and followed consultations with his family.

He stated that the move was reached after careful consideration but did not reveal his next political destination or whether he intends to join another political party.

Ngalda expressed gratitude to the APC leadership at the ward, local government, state and national levels for the opportunity to serve, while also appreciating the Gombe State Government for its support and cooperation during his tenure.

Despite leaving the party, the former ward chairman said he still holds the APC and its ideals in high esteem, wishing the party continued progress and success.
