Former Stoke star Dionatan Teixeira has passed away aged just 25.
Centre back Teixeira played twice in the Premier League for the Potters during a three year spell at the Bet 365 Stadium.

The Slovakian under 21 ace died of a suspected heart attack in homeland Brazil on Sunday, as reported by the Stoke Sentinel.
A statement from Sheriff Tiraspol, the club he moved to from Stoke, read : “A few hours ago, a good man and an excellent football player, former FC Sheriff player Dionatan Teixeira died.
“The Brazilian defender was only 25 years old. The whole of the club is shocked by this tragic news. The pain of loss is great.

“We express our sincere condolences to the relatives and friends of Dionatan.”
He had arrived Stoke in 2014 following a trial period, having previously been on trial at Manchester City only to have a move scuppered due to visa issues.
Having played for Brazil as a youth, he took on Slovakian citizenship after moving to join in the back line for Dukla Banska Bystrica in 2013, from where he joined the Potters for £400,000.

He made two appearances in the Premier League, helping secure wins as a substitute at Aston Villa and Bournemouth.
He also went on loan to Fleetwood Town before leaving in early 2017 to join Moldovan club Sheriff, where he was a member of their double-winning squad last season. He had returned to South America in the summer with a plan to return to Sheriff this campaign, but stayed at home where he had a young family.
