ABIODUN WINS APC OGUN EAST SENATORIAL PRIMARY AHEAD OF 2027 ELECTIONS

Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has emerged winner of the All Progressives Congress senatorial primary for Ogun East Senatorial District ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The result was announced by the returning officer for the district, Wale Bello, at Itoro Hall in Ijebu-Ode Local Government Area after the exercise, which was conducted across the nine local government areas in the senatorial zone.

According to the returning officer, Abiodun secured 75,560 votes out of 99,503 registered voters to clinch the ticket in the ruling party’s primary election.

The governor, in his acceptance speech, attributed his victory to divine grace and the support of APC members and loyalists across the district.

He thanked party supporters for their confidence in him and pledged not to betray the trust placed in him by the electorate.

The primary forms part of the APC’s nationwide preparations for the 2027 general elections.
