JAMB: Board Fixes Price And Date For 2018 UTME
The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB has proposed a date and fixed price for the 2018 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations.
JAMB Registrar, Prof Ishaq Oloyede during a meeting with stakeholders on Wednesday in Abuja said the board has proposed March 9 to 17 for 2018 examinations.
He added that the price of the form will be N5000
Oloyede said students who show interest would write mock examination from January 22 to 27 to test their level of preparedness.
“The mock examination is starting the same date the sales of form is ending.”
Oloyede also said that eyeglasses will be examined before candidates are allowed to write the examinations.
“Eyeglasses are to be examined properly before candidates are allowed into the examination hall”.
Recently, the JAMB Registrar announced that the board has placed a ban on the use of pen and wristwatches during examinations.
