Okada Rider’s Chairman Pleads With Lagos State Governor Over Ban
Comrade Adeleke Adegboyega, the chairman okada riders welfare association Lagos had advised governor Akinwumi Ambode of lagos state to take the interest of the masses as a priority, while adressing journalist in his office, Comrade Adeleke stated that the recent Agiliti crises was not caused by okada riders but rather, by hungry and jobless youth who claims to be Lord of the street in Agiliti area of Lagos State .
Comrade Adeleke while speaking with Afolabi Jolaoluwa aka Jabulani, appeal to the state government to lift ban on okada ridding in Agiliti so as to save lives and reduce joblessness among the youth.
He explains further that over 200 youths are now jobless and more than 100,000 citizens have been affected due to the policy. He submitted that, okada riders in agiliti are peaceful, law abiding and will continue to support the government.
